Happy Easter

"He is not here; he has risen!" Luke 24:6

Such wonderful words to say. Our Lord and Savior, not dead, but much alive.

It is hard to comprehend that He died for me. A sinner, a liar, a cheat, a thief....guilty as charged. Though I am all of those things, He paid my debt. I am now free. Free to live, free to love. All because Jesus chose me. He hand picked and and said, "Renee you are now mine forever." Amen!

For the first time, we hosted Easter dinner at our home. We had all of the fixins'. We had a great family day and finished the day off with a family game of racquetball and a bike ride. We had to work off what we ate somehow!! Shelly had so much fun chasing those blue balls off of the court. She would come back on the court only to run back out to find another one we hit. Fun times...

One year ago

March 10, 2007~ one year ago today, my daughter stood in front of a packed church audience and professed her faith and was baptized. What a glorious day.

Since that day, Shelly's faith never ceases to amaze me. She has the Innocent child like faith. She shows no fear in telling others that she loves Jesus.

On days when my faith wavers, her faith stands strong and encourages me. Over and over again, God blesses me daily by her life.

With all that God had given us , what can we give to God?

"Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker, for he is our God..." Psalm 95:6-7
